Arriving at Oludeniz is a breathtaking experience. The boats depart from the beach front every morning at 10am for day trips of sailing, swimming, snorkelling and relaxing. The captain and crew happily take passengers around the surrounding coastline stopping at beaches, bays, islands and coves serving fresh, delicious BBQ food for lunch and offering ice cream and drinks all day long.
Top class diving agencies are available in Oludeniz to offer daily and weekly diving classes and tours around the gorgeous coastline. These activities are for both beginners and experienced divers, registered diving certificates can also be presented to divers from these companies. This area of the Mediterranean Sea is renowned as a popular and exciting place to dive and explore; there are caves and historical underwater ruins as well as the unusual marine creatures waiting to be discovered.
For some, visiting Oludeniz is purely about the thrill of paragliding from the highest paragliding summit in Europe. Babadag Mountain’s launch area is 2000 metres above sea level with the amazing views of Oludeniz below. The landing and greeting area for paragliders from Babadag takes them right back into the heart of the beachfront promenade to relax and, straight away, share their experience with other gliders. This is not just a professionals’ activity as tandem flights can be taken with qualified instructors, people of all ages have tried this extraordinary activity time and time again.
Just along the coast, accessible from Oludeniz beach by regular water taxi service, the beautiful Butterfly Valley can be discovered. While Oludeniz is a place with a vibrant atmosphere and vast choices of establishments, Butterfly Valley is a natural paradise experience with little having changed in the history of its existence. There is a stunning white beach and the turquoise waters of Oludeniz Bay in unbelievable lush surroundings waiting for visitors to come for a picnic and camp under the stars for the night. The valley still boasts a large numbers of amazing butterfly species which thrive in the peaceful tranquillity of the surrounding hills, tender waterfall and tropical foliage.
